Applications:

  • Swimming Pools

    ECF

The higher bather loads associated with public pools can easily overwhelm traditional methods of disinfection such as chlorine treatment, Ultraviolet disinfection is proven to improve safety and protect your patrons against microorganisms, including chlorine tolerant pathogens such as Cryptospordium.

  • Waterparks

    ECP

The disinfection of water by UV systems is a natural and green solution which provides safe and clean water without the use of toxic chemicals, ETS has supplied a range of state-of-the-art medium pressure ultraviolet systems to waterparks around the world treating up to 7,000 gpm in a single, compact, high output system. Vast experience in this market is what categorizes ETS LLC as a world leader in ultraviolet water park applications.

  • Splashpads & Fountains

    SX

Extremely popular with young children, splash pad applications feature lower circulating water volumes, typically high bather loads, and spray features that create atomized watr. Atomized water is created when fine spray or mist from water features combines with the air in the surrounding environment. While this feature can be enjoyable for patrons of all ages, a contaminated water source that is atomized and then inhaled can cause severe illnesses such as Legionnaires Disease and Pneumonia. Based on published reports, the cases prove to be fatal 30% of the those who contract the disease. These factors have made UV protection a 'must have' for any water play application. ETS is the leader in providing UV systems specifically designed for this "point of use" application with systems validated to meet every state and provincial code for this application.

  • Therapy Pool & Spas

ETS lampSpas and therapy pools are often specialized applications that operate with both increased temperatures and increased water turbulence. Due to the high temperature of the water and increased bather loads, pool applications such as spas and therapy pools are breeding grounds for harmful microorganisms such as E-Coli and Cryptosporidium despite high levels of chlorine. When spa features include water jets, bathers both in and around the spa area are at risk of contracting Legionnaires Disease from atomized water, while dangerous parasites such as pseudomonas can be contracted through the skin if bathers come in contact with the jets. Therapy pools used for exercise and rehab consist of relatively low volume of cold or hot water with a heavy concentration of sweat and chemicals used to protect wounds or enhance the healing process. These conditions can often create infections that can be passed onto others in the water. In order to combat these problems, the state-of-the-art ETS ECP UV system range has been developed. As a high output, ultra compact system this unit has the capacity to fully meet the biological demands and increased flows associated with spa and therapy pool applications.
