The 5S Series are designed with many of the same features as the SS series, including fully-assembled Schedule 80 face piping. This series includes some new innovations including the only 8" backwash valve in the industry and air valve actuation for the smoothest, quickest valve movement. Standard systems accommodate flow from 135 to 3,000 GPM. Multiple sizes are available, 36", 42" and 60" diameters.
The S Series is wound on a computer controlled, multi-axis machine which does not rely on adhesive joints which can be sensitive to temperature variation and application error. It has the options of an automatic or manual relief system. The filters feature proprietary PARACOTE All-Weather Exterior Coating with UV Inhibitors. The Semi-Automatic Single-Knob Backwash Control comes standard as well as a 6" Backwash Valve.
The SL Series can be stacked to minimize footprint and are designed for Seismic Zone 4 loading without additional supports or braces needed. The filters feature proprietary PARACOTE All-Weather Exterior Coating with UV Inhibitors. Two backwash controllers are offered with this series and all come standard with a transparent ABS valve housing on the 6" backwash valve. The Semi-Automatic Single-Knob Backwash Control comes standard with the option of the Auto Backwash Control.
The SS Series features the access manway located on the tank head, providing easy access for installation and service. The design of the tank does not rely on adhesive joint which can be sensitive to temperature variation and application error. It also features a media evacuation port and winterizing drain port. The laterals are injection-molded with reverse 'V' slots. The filters feature proprietary PARACOTE All-Weather Exterior Coating with UV Inhibitors. On the two-tank systems, it includes a Diaphragm-type Priority Valve.
