Chemical Delivery Systems

    Surewater Technologies

"THE SOLUTION" is a wide range high capacity sodium hypochlorite feeder with a maximum out put of 1728 GPD.

"The only liquid bleach feeder that's not a pump. It is a vacuum."

It's revolutionary new design is safe and simple and eliminates all the common maintenance and equipment problems of current feeder technology.

"THE SOLUTION" ( model 22152-01 ) is a compact wall mounted, pre-plumbed, state of the art feeder, based on venturi feed (vacuum) rather than pressure.

Venturi feed action blends the chlorine into the water rather than simple squirt injection (metering pumps), thus delivering an even distribution throughout your system.

Operation of "THE SOLUTION" ( model 22152-01) requires controller automation, which is electrically connected to "The Solution's" solenoid valve. When the controller calls for chlorine, the solenoid valve opens allowing the venturi to simply draw the chlorine solution through the unit.

This special Viton/Teflon coated solenoid valve is rated at over a million cycles.

The unit has an easy to read flow meter and a metering valve to adjust feed rates.

Construction of the unit consists of clear sched 40 PVC pipe with sched 80 PVC fittings. It is mounted on 3/8 " PVC board which is mounted on fiberglass / pvc channel.

The entire unit is designed to be corrosion resistant.

Basic "SOLUTION" unit dimensions: 24" high by 12" wide.

Shipping dimensions 12.5" high by 18.5" wide by 31.5" long

    Shipping weight 27 lbs.

The only maintenance required for "THE SOLUTION" is simple 3 minute cleaning once a month. (Please see our Maintenance page)

Each "SOLUTION" comes with a full two year warranty. (Please see our Warranty page)

"THE SOLUTION" ( model 22152-01) is NSF/ANSI Standard 50 Certified 2/18/02 (National Sanitation Foundation)

PLEASE NOTE: "THE SOLUTION" is a professional grade feeder system for use by professional operators only.

"THE SOLUTION" is not for use with spas or hot tubs.

    MAINTENANCE

THE ONLY REQUIRED MAINTENANCE IS A SIMPLE THREE MINUTE CLEANING !

IT IS REQUIRED THAT UNIT BE CLEANED EVERY TWO WEEKS IF USING BATCH SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE (BLEACH).

AND ONCE A MONTH IF USING CONTINUOUS PROCESSED SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE (BLEACH).

    TO CLEAN THE UNIT
    1. SET CONTROLLER TO FEED MODE.

    2. CLOSE CHLORINE SHUT-OFF VALVE.

    3. INSERT CLEAN-OUT LABCOCK FLEX TUBE IN ONE GALLON OF CLEAN WATER AND OPEN LABCOCK. ALLOW ENTIRE GALLON OF WATER TO FLOW THROUGH UNIT, RINSING UNIT FREE OF BLEACH.

    4. INSERT CLEAN-OUT LABCOCK TUBE IN GALLON SOLUTION OF 50% (WATER) , 50% (MURIATIC ACID 20% BAUME) AND ALLOW ACID MIXTURE TO FLOW THROUGH UNIT FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 SECONDS.

    5. WITH CLEAN-OUT LABCOCK VALVE STILL OPEN, RE-INSERT LABCOCK FLEX TUBE IN FRESH GALLON OF WATER, ALLOW ENTIRE GALLON TO FLOW THROUGH THE UNIT, RINSING UNIT FREE OF MURIATIC ACID RESIDUE.

    6. CLEAN Y-STRAINER IF NECESSARY.

    7. CLOSE CLEAN-OUT LABCOCK VALVE.

    8. RE-OPEN CHLORINE SHUT-OFF VALVE.

    9. RESET CONTROLLER

NOTE: THESE COMPLETE CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALSO LOCATED ON THE FACE OF EACH UNIT.

    Typical Installation Diagram

"THE SOLUTION" unit is to be wall mounted basically at eye level. An 1 1/4" by-pass stream (sched 80 pvc)of post filtered water, is plumbed through the venturi at the top of the feeder. Differential pressure to operate the unit can be created by throttling back the main return valve (differential valve). If necessary this can be acomplished by using a booster pump (optional). 1/2" sched 80 pvc pipe is plumbed from the bleach tank to the inlet side of the feeder.
