Waterworks Aquatics

Waterworks Aquatics is a premier swim school with six different locations throughout Southern California. The owners and employees  of Waterworks Aquatics share their love of swimming with children and believe there is a swimmer in every child.

Irvine small

Waterworks Aquatics' original facility is located in Irvine and it is the largest of the six locations. This 32,000+ square foot facility offers swim classes, wellness programs, and community activities. Waterworks Aquatics' Irvine location boasts three indoor pools including one that is a saline system (salt water pool) and a Junior Olympic-size outdoor pool, heated to 85 and 92 degrees year round.

With Waterworks "triangle of communication" lasting relationships are built between every parent, child and instructor. Each student is carefully matched with an instructor who can best understand the student's unique capabilities and help them reach their full potential. The small class sizes and personalized attention has led them to receive the "Best Swim Classes in Orange County" award by Parenting OC Magazine for the last four consecutive years!

Carlsbad small

Their Carlsbad center located at Bressi Village Center has two heated indoor pools which offer swim classes, wellness programs, community activities and swimming competitions.

They are currently working on their sixth location in Pasadena which is scheduled to open the end of May 2013. This brand new state-of-the--art indoor facility will offer two heated pools. The first is a 25 yard lap pool with 4 lanes; the other is a teaching pool perfect for children's swim classes.

One of Waterworks Aquatics missions is to help prevent drowning. Wit 40 deaths last year in California alone in children up to 5 years of age, drowning is the leading cause of injury-relates deaths among children in the 0-5 age range. Surviving victims of near drowning accidents often experience disabilities for the remainder of their lives. These include brain damage, seizures, learning disabilities, paralysis and coma. With an agenda to take each student from one step to the next, without skipping crucial skills or giving children a false sense of security in the water, Waterworks Aquatics is helping to protect our communities.
